PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
CITY OF BAINBRIDGE, GEORGIA

Notice is hereby given that the Bainbridge City Council will hold a public hearing to consider the adoption of a proposed Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance to replace the current Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance.
The purpose of this ordinance is to promote the public health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of Bainbridge by minimizing public and private losses due to flood conditions in specific areas. The ordinance establishes regulations for development within flood hazard areas, consistent with federal requirements of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
The public hearing will be held as follows:

Time: 6:30 pm
Location: City Council Chambers, Bainbridge City Hall, 101 S. Broad St. Bainbridge, GA 39817
All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard regarding the proposed ordinance. A copy of the proposed Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance is available for public review at Bainbridge City Hall in the Community & Economic Development Division located at 101 S. Broad St, Bainbridge, Georgia during regular business hours.
Written comments may also be submitted prior to the hearing to:
