BECOME A POLL WORKER

Decatur County Board of Elections Needs Poll Workers for the November 2026 Midterm Election

Serve your community while earning extra income! The Decatur County Board of Elections is recruiting dependable individuals to work as Poll Workers for the November 2026 Midterm Election.

Poll Workers are paid, and training is provided.

Requirements:

-Must be at least 16 years of age

-Must reside in Decatur County

-Must be a registered Decatur County voter (18 years of age and older)

-Must complete required training

-Must have reliable transportation

-Must be willing to work at polling locations other than your assigned precinct

-Must be able to assist with setting up a polling place

-Must be available to work 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day

-Must remain professional, courteous, and impartial throughout the election process
